Department of Physical Education

Our College pays equal attention for simultaneous growth of both the body and mind of the students. The college trusts in following the saying "A sound mind in a sound body''. The Department of Physical Education has been making all our efforts to train the students in indoor and outdoor games and encourage them to participate in various sports events organized inside the college as well as in inter-collegiate events, District, State, National Level sports meets and Tamil Nadu Inter Engineering Sports (TIES).

Aim and objective

To train students in the art of Physical Education by giving them proper training to play various indoor and outdoor games which will make them physically and mentally fit.

Sports Events

Students participated in captain trophy cricket tournament held at "Shri Andal Alagar college of Engineering", Mamandur

Students participated in open state level Handball Tournament in "PSG Engineering College", Coimbatore

Students were part of our college team which won first place in "Tamilnadu Sports University Handball Tournament."

Students were part of our college team which won fourth place in "Anna University Inter-zonal meet."

Students were part of our college team which won third place in "Anna Memorial Handball Tournament at Anna University."

Students participated in Kabaddi tournament held at "Mailam Engineering College,Mailam."

Fitness Center:

An exclusive gymnasium cum fitness center is under construction with ultramodern fitness equipments to the health conscious students and staffs.

Sports Facilities

The college directs its concerted attention on 3 dimensions of holistic development viz academic excellence, achievements in sports & games & involvement in community welfare.

A well developed gymnasium is available for the students. Facilities for various games like volley ball, cricket, hockey, ball badminton, table tennis, Basket Ball etc are provided.
